Our current staff of 150 is in immediate need in the following area: 

 

 

Branch Manager - (Metro) Washington, DC

The Branch Manager will serve in a leadership position and be the single most visible person interfacing with existing and potential clients. This position will report directly to a Regional Vice President and will supervise project managers and other technical support staff as needed. Duties will include development of sales opportunities, proposal development, client interaction, scheduling, management and execution of commissioning and energy-related projects, document preparation, and overall staff management and development.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Strong business development skills, project management skills, experience in facility engineering, HVAC, assessment/planning, peer review, design and/or consulting services (HVAC and automated controls).
  • BSME or Bachelor of Architectural Engineering (or equivalent) and PE license.
  • LEED Accredited Professional and/or Commissioning Industry Certification a plus.
  • Great leadership skills that promote trust with a tremendous emphasis on high performance, continuous improvement, and building a cohesive team environment.
  • Strong computer, technical writing and communication skills.  Government, healthcare, university, and/or commercial project experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Junior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to focus on the design for building HVAC systems.  This individual will be responsible for calculations, drawings and specifications for new and renovation projects and join our Alpharetta, GA office.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • B.S. or B.M.E.T. in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 to 5 years experience in facility design engineering, HVAC, controls, plumbing and fire protection systems
  • Strong computer, technical writing and communication skills 
  • Hospital, university, and/or government project experience preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Junior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to focus on the design for building electrical systems associated with power, lighting, telecommunications, security, and fire alarm along with the calculations, drawings and specifications for new and renovation projects working out of our Alpharetta, GA office.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • B.S. or B.E.E.T. in Electrical  Engineering
  • Engineer in Training Certification
  • 3 to 5 years experience in facility electrical engineering and related systems, such as controls, lighting, power, fire alarm, security and telecommunications
  • Strong computer, technical writing and communication skills
  • Hospital, university, and/or government project experience preferred
  • Experience working around live electrical conductors
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Staff Energy Engineer (Mechanical or Architectural)

We are looking for a Staff Energy Engineer to join our Falls Church, VA office. The focus of this work will be in energy engineering and retro-commissioning for mechanical building systems (HVAC, plumbing and temperature controls).

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

·         B.S. in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering or comparable energy audit/analysis experience for non-degreed applicant

·         4-8 years engineering experience

·         P.E. and LEED AP preferred

·         Background in energy audits, field assessments, data trending/ analysis, energy savings modeling and analysis and HVAC systems testing and troubleshooting

·         Familiarity with USGBC LEED programs, especially LEED EB OM, and experience with high-performance building projects, as well as ASHRAE 90.1 energy standard

·         Energy modeling experience with eQUEST or Energy Plus is required

·         CEM certification preferred, but not required
